What Is Content Salad?

Hello... My name is Matt Boorstin, and developed Content Salad to power my website, as well as some of my client's. Content Salad is a lightweight content management system designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. I find that high powered CMS's like Joomla and Drupal, while fantastic, are sometimes overkill and not worth the time it takes to make them do what I want. Content Salad features an administrative interface that is far more streamlined...

...and modular code that is meant to be inserted into the designer's framework - not the other way around.

The content generated by Content Salad can be delivered with generic styling -or- delivered as unstyled XHTML with unique ID's. This allows designers to style the resulting pages with much more control than they usually have in other CMS templates.

Should I Use Content Salad?

Content Salad is meant for individuals or small businesses. Content Salad can power a personal blog, showcase a portfolio, or run a brochure site with ease. It is also a good option for people with limited HTML and CSS knowledge, as code can be easily tweaked. However, if your site is going to have than 5-10 users, or you plan for it to become the next Amazon.com, you will probably be better served by Joomla or Drupal, and I can help you with that.
